We believe very strongly in our customers’ right to privacy. Our customer records are not for sale or trade, and we will not disclose our customer data to any third party except as may be required by law.
Customer information (name, company, street address, email and phone number provided when a product is purchased) may be used for the following purposes:
· Sending replacement copies to customers who have a new computer or have replaced their hard disk
· Determining upgrade and update eligibility
· Informing existing customers of new versions
· Conducting market research
Anonymous information about web site visits (which cannot be associated with a particular user)
If a user installs Stock Portfolio Organizer software and activates the license, the following information will be sent to the license server: Date and time of attempted license registration, IP address, computed hardware id and license serial number. Data is collected in real time when user attempts to activate the license online, and periodically post-activation, while Stock Portfolio Organizer is running, in order to check license validity. No personal identification information is sent.
If a user sends a crash report, the following information will be sent: Information shown in the crash report window and operating system version. Crash reports are sent to us via email from the crash report window. No data is stored on our server. The emailed reports are deleted every few days.
